Last night the Morrison Government rushed reheated Abbot-era environmental legislation through the House of Representatives without debate. The bill would yet again undermine protections and fail to deliver the national standards recommended by the recent federal environment law review. It’s just the latest attack on the nation’s life support systems in a seven year record of destruction, any one of which should be disqualifying for any party claiming to represent the Australian people.
