Who needs the leadership when you’ve incepted yourself in the PM's brain?
The former Prime Minister Tony Abbott has denied whispers he is manoeuvring for another shot at the leadership, using the field of neurology to explain how he’s already in charge.
Neurologists talk about something called the homunculus, commonly referred to as “the little man inside the brain.” They use it as a scale model of a human shaped to reflect the relative space occupied by human body parts in the motor and sensory cortices. It strikes Tony Abbott as the perfect for analogy for Australian politics.
Mr Abbott said “Most people think Malcolm Turnbull is governing Australia. Lol. From 18C to the plebiscite, from asylum seekers to welfare cuts, from the announcement of climate deniers to head energy committees to the appointment of coal champions to environment portfolios, it’s pretty obvious I’m the little man inside his brain.”
He added: “Oh and the analogy with the homunculus works downstairs, if you know what I mean. Wink wink...I’m talking about his monster cock.”
