The new measures to oppose violent extremism will ensure voters give their last preference to the Libs on the ballots at both the NSW and Federal elections.
As part of the community response to the horrific events in Christchurch last Friday, a new nation-wide programme will ensure all Australians take the ACTU Election Pledge to put the Liberals last at upcoming elections and deradicalize this country from top to bottom.
The pledge is part of a broader strategy called Countering Violent Extremism (CVE), which clarifies terminology, outlines the federal approach, and rolls out specific measures.
The Australian Government defines violent extremism like this:
Violent extremism is the beliefs and actions of people who support or use violence to achieve ideological, religious or political goals. This includes terrorism and other forms of politically motivated and communal violence.
All forms of violent extremism seek change through fear and intimidation rather than through peaceful means.
If a person or group decides that fear, terror and violence are justified to achieve ideological, political or social change, and then acts accordingly, this is violent extremism.
LNP governments have played an active role in perpetrating violence on Muslims on Manus and Nauru as well as in origin countries which they have historically bombed. They have also spent decades on foundational work for white supremacist massacres through endless campaigns of anti-Muslim rhetoric and fear-mongering. It it is clear that should the LNP not be voted into oblivion, the risks to Australian and New Zealand communities are very real.
There are three main pillars to the CVE strategy, including :
Early intervention and counter radicalisation programmes to help and support people to deradicalise and disengage from violent ideologies.
These young people need our help.
2. Working with communities so they can help prevent people from moving down the path of radicalisation to violence,

3. Addressing online radicalisation and reducing the impact of terrorists’ use of social media by helping people to develop the digital skills needed to critically assess terrorists’ claims and promote alternative messages online.
Specific measures include ‘addressing terrorist propaganda online’, which monitors and analyses social media to better understand the extremist narratives offered in Liberal Party advertising and how they can harm Australians. The recently launched Report Online Extremism tool collaborates efforts between the Australian Communications and Media Authority, private sector and international partners to take down or otherwise address extremist Liberal and National Party content. The tool can also divert Australian online searches for extreme militant and propaganda terrorism-type Liberal Party campaign material towards ads for the Greens.
The ‘diversion and deradicalisation’ stream includes intervention programmes to case manage at-risk young people who listen to Alan Jones or watch Sunrise with services such as mentoring, coaching, counselling, and education through exposure to copious amounts of Democracy Now!
There are high hopes this new programme will forever banish the threat of Liberal Party extremism and help heal the deep wounds inflicted upon our Muslim brothers and sisters.
