It’s the first known instance of Liberal Party compassion.
Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has been allowed 24 hours out of a Dickson prison camp to attend his party’s campaign launch over the weekend.
The Minister has been detained in his local electorate since April 11, the day the Prime Minister called the election. He is widely seen as a threat to the electoral chances of other Coalition MPs.
Seen briefly at the launch, Mr Dutton was then whisked away back to his Queensland concentration camp to avoid any awkward questions like whether he experienced emotions or not.
The question on the lips of many in the community is how imprisoned Iranian-Kurdish man Behrouz Boochani used Whatsapp to write Australia's most awarded book of 2019, but the government minister who criticised innumerate and illiterate refugees can’t count beyond 40.
