This country has been an unsafe space for the last six years and it’s about time we did something about it.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison took the opportunity of the second leaders’ debate to provide the perfect visual metaphor for the way the Liberals have spent two terms of government menacingly backing Australia into a corner.
Bill Shorten took the opportunity to label the PM a “space invader”, the most accurate moniker since “human rights abuser”, “climate criminal” and “daggy white supremacist”.
The Labor leader spoke for all Australians when he took the piss out of the Prime Minister and sent a clear signal that, barring an appearance in The Hague, we never want to see his obnoxious face again.
