How can you expect him to keep track of all the scandals when he’s got dance routines to choreograph?
Dance Captain for the Cronulla Sharks Mermaids Scott Morrison has laughed off calls for some accountability for his desperately corrupt, incompetent and scandal-ridden government.
Just days after the PM was in fine form on Thursday night after his Cronulla Sharks came back to stun the Panthers, uppity journos had the gall to ask him a series of Canberra bubble questions about endemic cronyism in the Liberal Party.
They’ve asked him why his government bought overpriced, low-quality water, without a tender process, from a company domiciled in a tax haven, who counted current Minister for Energy Angus Taylor as one of its early directors.
He answered “Why don’t you asked me again about my favourite Sharkies player of all time? It’s Paul Gallen by the way.”
“What about the gallons of water your government bought from some mates and the gallons of waste and mismanagement in every conceivable policy public policy area which is exposed seemingly on a daily basis?” asked one bubble journo.
The PM quipped, “Did you see rookie Bronson Xerri light up PointsBet Stadium with a 65-metre run in the 49th minute last Thursday night? It was his first career four-pointer which kickstarted a 26-minute, four-try blitz, and the boys claimed a stirring 24-20 victory.”
