“Sorry, so it’s pronounced ScoBo?”
It was humiliating enough for the PM that the losing stench around him and his federal party was so foul that the NSW Liberals kept him away from the podium at the campaign launch yesterday.
Now the government has notched up the 50th Newspoll loss in a row, sinking to a two-party preferred vote of 46-54, NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is claiming that she’s never met the man who calls himself the Prime Minister.
When asked this morning why Scott Morrison didn’t get a chance to speak at the launch, the Premier said,
“Frankly, I haven’t the foggiest who you’re talking about.”
When presented with photographic evidence of her embracing the Prime Minister at the launch, she said,
“Oh, I thought that was John Howard’s nephew.”
