Morrison credits quiet Australian Rupert Murdoch for miracle of concentrated wealth, power, and influence.
Faced with a choice between the faecal matter of a rabid rottweiler, a half-decent policy agenda or a habitable planet, billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch has elected the faecal matter, because that’s his field of expertise.
The voters who would prefer not to fight to the death for scarce resources on a burning planet thought climate crimes, crimes against humanity, coddling white supremacists, closing Indigenous communities, attacking public broadcasters, assaulting media diversity, cutting funding to schools, hospitals, penalty rates, pensions and community organisations, cutting arms deals with terrorists, prosecuting whistleblowers, protecting the banks, waging war on civil liberties and the poor, Islamophobia, homophobia, rigging the tax system and ruining the NBN, naked corruption and never-ending corporatism, might be reason enough to opt for a change of government.
Thanks to the miracle of media concentration and the marvel of preferences harvested from $83 million in a mining billionaire’s advertising, the Murdoch empire’s Australian franchise, despite being run by the diarrhoea of maniacal mongrel, remains open for business.
How good’s oligarchy?
