Poor people are poor because they are lazy.
A new study by the Institute for Destroying Democracy has found conclusive evidence that one of the central myths perpetuating neoliberalism, that poor people are poor because they are lazy, is absolutely true.
The report found that apart from those poor folks who were born into families who struggled to afford to feed, house, and clothe them, provide medical care, education, or any other resources, and apart from those who entered a class constantly exploited, bullied, denigrated, harassed, dehumanised, and punished by their bosses as well as by political and media elites, and apart from those poor individuals born into countries where their ancestors were slaughtered or enslaved and their wealth was stolen, and their descendants were stigmatised at every turn and paid below minimum wage or given welfare payments to ensure they remain forever below the poverty line, and apart from those who fled homelands which were bombed by foreign rich people, often the same people who would then imprison them in concentration camps for trying to escape their death sentence, the study showed poor individuals lived in poverty due to their lack of effort.
