No one does feminism better than men.
The Feminist Show is Channel Nine’s answer to casual sexism, premièring this Thursday at 8.30pm.
Host James Brayshaw will present an action-packed program as we count down the Top Ten Male Feminists of the 21st century.
He will be joined by Sam Newman, who recently celebrated his 70th birthday, for a blockbuster season opener explaining the misunderstood feminism of Eddie McGuire.
Together with Billy Brownless, Shane Crawford and award-winning newsbreaker Damian Barrett, they will cover all the latest feminist news, present a unique twist on a public discourse jam-packed with misogyny and throw in a few surprises for good measure.
Hawthorn superstar Jarryd Roughead and newly crowned Essendon captain Brendon Goddard head up this week’s panel discussing why so many female feminists get it wrong.
Roughy, now a four-time premiership player, will call Clementine Ford aggressive, and the boys will no doubt probe the newlywed star for details of his recent nuptials. And Goddard will open up his struggle to be a feminist ally and tell hilarious jokes about his wife to his mates.
We kick off our Best in Feminism competition where male and female feminists go head-to-head. First up Steve Price debates Van Badham on the subject "Ovaries and other causes of female hysteria".
Plus, Sam puts his babysitting skills to the test on Crawf’s twins, Harry and Jack.
What could possibly go wrong?
