97% of climate scientists say Malcolm Turnbull’s Prime Ministership is sinking.
In a week in which he worked hard to outlaw environmental activism and got behind the planetary suicide mission by saying coal would be important for "many, many, many decades to come", it’s nice to see the PM make at least an indirect contribution to the climate fight.
Researchers from the climate council have found the master Tony Abbott impressionist’s flagging popularity, like his predecessor’s, provides an accurate model for the pace at which Australia must reduce its carbon footprint.
Unless Australia can reduce emissions as fast as the PM can erode his own support, Australia’s coastlines, like the Turnbull Government, will rapidly disappear.
