They would like you to forget that this all started with David Cameron, like all conservatives, putting his own political career ahead of millions of people who have never placed their genitalia inside a dead pig’s mouth.

Former Prime Minister David Cameron’s decision to call a Brexit referendum was a masterstroke which killed not only his own political career and soon to be that of his successor, but also the United Kingdom itself.

As hundreds of thousands of Britons hit the streets of London to call for a second vote, and articulate 16-year-old girls make impassioned pleas for a general election, Tory MPs squabble over the split sow milk of David Cameron’s “act of indescribably reckless selfishness”.

On the upside for the Tories, all this Byzantine Brexit debate does prevent Jeremy Corbyn getting any traction on matters of life and death like poverty, inequality and climate change.

Sure, Cameron’s actions and subsequent Tory governance may destroy the entire country.

But if it means a few extra years of a parliamentary salary for a few conservative MPs, then isn’t it all worth it?
