A man who is still yet to wipe the bird poo from his brow will spend the day sensitively focusing on his own leadership ambitions.
Fresh from his poetic tribute to the two bushfire victims who “likely voted Green”, cow whisperer Barnaby Joyce will devote this special day, set aside for those who’ve suffered through Australia’s most nightmarish summer, to his own ego.
The move is a surprising one for the maverick MP from New England who has built his reputation on sacrificing his own interests for his families.
Condolences to all Australians who will now likely suffer yet another national disaster.
