Labor’s policy vision came out on top.

Prime Minister-in-waiting Bill Shorten squared off against Prime Ministerial silhouette Scott Morrison last night in a battle of Labor’s ideas.

Bereft of any policies of his own, Bill Shorten’s shadow Scott Morrison was forced to debate everything from Labor’s policy on negative gearing, to Labor’s policy on franking credits, to Labor’s childcare reforms, to Labor’s $2.4 bn cancer package, to Labor’s climate policy,

It was pretty clear that one leader had spent six years developing a series of detailed policies to reform the nation while the other had spent this time hewing a piece of coal into a boat trophy.
