Denying psychiatric treatment to suicidal children is one thing, but doing favours for mates is beyond the pale.

He holds 800 refugees in island prison camps in conditions the UN has described as a systematic violation of the international Convention against Torture.

He says Melbournians are scared to go out to restaurants because of African gang violence.

He jokes about sea level rise wiping out Pacific islands.

He calls a journalist a mad fucking witch.

He says allowing Lebanese Muslim refugees into Australia was a mistake and accused them of being responsible for high crime rates.

He says illiterate and innumerate refugees would take local jobs and be a drain on welfare.

He boycotts the apology to the Stolen Generations.

He calls lawyers working pro bono to defend asylum seekers un-Australian.

He spearheads calls for the resignation of Human Rights Commission president, Gillian Triggs.

He says crazy lefties at the ABC and Guardian are dead to him.

He tells Rohingya refugees to return to their homes in Myanmar where they are targets of genocide.

He refuses an abortion to a pregnant asylum seeker after she had been raped.

He says Queensland magistrates are hopeless leftwing softies.

He’s voted worst Health Minister in 35 years.

He says Fairfax is conducting a Jihad against the Coalition government.

He calls refugee advocates liars, says they coach self-harm, and dismisses refugee claims of feeling threatened as complete nonsense.

He accuses refugees of deliberately harming themselves and inventing claims of sexual assault to get to Australia.

He dismisses the Nauru files as hype.

He fights court battles to prevent suicidal children from coming to Australia for medical treatment.

His punishment?

Coming within inches of the Prime Ministership.

He ignores Border Force advice and grants a visa to an Italian nanny who a former Queensland police colleague wants to hire

He does something similar for a French au pair.

Shame Dutton, Shame. It’s time for a motion of no-confidence and front-page headlines for weeks.

Such nepotism really calls into question Dutton’s fitness for duty in a way torture just doesn’t.
