Remember that time the current Minister for Home Affairs for the Next Few Days attacked refugees for having the multitasking skills of taking all our jobs and being unemployed at the same time?
“These people would be taking Australian jobs, there’s no question about that. For many of them that would be unemployed they would languish in unemployment queues and on Medicare and on the rest of it. So there would be a huge cost. There’s not sense in sugar coating it, that’s the scenario.”
Well now the 800 refugees on Manus and Nauru don’t see the sense in sugar coating it either. Soon it will be Peter Dutton languishing in unemployment.
24 million Australians would be looking forward to the smile being wiped off his face but he hasn’t learned how to do that yet.
