“So this is what doing a job is like.”

Former Hawaiian holidaymaker and current PR nightmare, Scott Morrison, has been snapped painting over a mural in the Sydney suburb of Chippendale in what is being described as the first time he’s worked in well over a decade.

The PM was said to be displeased with the mural, widely praised for its photographic realism.

It is perhaps unsurprising that the only thing that can get Mr Morrison to work is a 20-foot image of himself.

He actually did a pretty good job of covering up the mural thanks to more than a decade of covering up his own corruption.

Exhausted from the 15 minutes it took to paint over the artwork, the Prime Minister immediately set off with Jenny and the kids to Bali for a well-earned rest.

We need healthy independent media more than ever. Become a Situation Theatre patron.
