Transparency czar Scott Morrison has come under fire from Labor for refusing to say how much Federal Government rorts will cost taxpayers over the next two years.
The Opposition has labelled the Government’s corruption targets as “extremist”, suggesting the party is repeating past mistakes of not explaining to the public how much they would spend on buying elections.
Integrity Commissioner Angus Taylor defended the Government’s position, showing journalists a very convincing document proving that Kevin Rudd spent $16 trillion on rorts back in 2007.
