“Reforms” May Not Be Best Way To Describe Escalation Of 75-Year-Old Liberal Class War

Is this like the time the Liberals reformed refugees in concentration camps, or more like the time they reformed Aboriginal people in prisons?

With the Coalition Government destined to use the cover of COVID-19 to reform the living daylights out of workers’ rights and environmental regulations, as well siphon off loads of reforms to fossil fuel companies, we’d do well to remember the Liberal Party’s rich history when it comes to reforming this country.

Their history of reform is so rich in fact, it's hard to pick an all-time favourite. Was it when they reformed the innocent civilians of Afghanistan and Iraq? Was it when they reformed Aboriginal culture during the Northern Territory intervention? Or perhaps it’s their ongoing environmental reforms, the ones which are setting our country on fire, wiping out our continent’s biodiversity, and laying waste to our rivers, soils, and atmosphere?

Full credit to the majority of the nation’s political journalists, who daily describe this death cult’s morally bankrupt class war as “reform”, yet still somehow hold their dinner down.
