Mr Morrison caught the first business class flight home from a meeting with Brian Houston in New York on how to best cover up his Dad’s sex offences when the PM heard the Springvale coal mine was in danger.
After ignoring weeks of desperate pleas from former fire chiefs and communities across Australia to hold a national fire summit to tackle the bushfire crisis incinerating the nation, the PM has been forced to act because now the fires risk harming something he actually cares about.
His empathy consultant, Regina Phalange, explained that while he does lack the ability to connect with the human race due to defects in his circuit board, he does care quite profoundly about the health and safety of coal deposits.
Mr Morrison finally broke his silence on the national emergency by actually responding to a question about the fires without using the phrase “Canberra bubble”.
On why he’s taken so long to act he said “the destruction of national parks, homes and communities, the killing of native species, families, and firefighters, and the terror of a fearful nation feeling abandoned by their leader at a time of crisis is one thing. A threat to the assets of the fossil fuel industry is quite another.”
