Finally, the Prime Minister is actually doing something innovative.
Mr Turnbull has announced that all Liberal ministers will be enrolled in a Masters Degree of Gender Studies at the Australian National University, commencing their studies in March of this year.
Peter Dutton will study Gender, Sex and Sexuality: An Introduction to Feminist Theory, in conjunction with Trauma, Memory and Culture, Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective and Colonialism, Sex, Race and Gender: Historical Episodes.
Jaimie Briggs has signed up for Sex, Gender and Identity: An Introduction to Gender Studies, as well as Going Public: Sex, Sexuality and Feminism and Gender and Cultural Studies in Asia and the Pacific.
Mr Turnbull will also step aside until he completes his Masters at the end of 2017. In the meantime Australia will have a caretaker government made up entirely of feminist women.
