RSL Queensland thought they’d booked a Prime Ministerial impressionist but what they got was a boring imitation of a shouty game show host who thinks he’s way funnier than he is.

10 minutes into a bit in which failed comedian Scott Morrison just listed his mates and said “How good’s ….?”, a political leader put everyone out of their misery by jumping to the stage and calling for an end to environmental vandalism.

An organiser for the Australian Youth Climate Coalition (AYCC), Melanie McAuliffe, explained the interruption was designed not just humanely end the terminal set of Mr Morrison, but also highlight the LNP’s climate policy failures.

"We just had a summer of unprecedented heatwave, bushfires and floods and yet this government still continues to ignore what we need to do to address the climate crisis."

RSL Queensland have since released a statement to say while it’s the last time Morrison will be appearing at the club, they’ve already organised a climate justice forum for the same time next week.
