At the upcoming federal election, the nation will spurn Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten in favour of a real political leader.
The countdown is on to the May election and the Australian electorate cannot wait to express their disgust with the major parties by voting for someone who will actually represent their interests: the New Zealand Prime Minister.
The prediction comes at a time when the current Australian PM is abdicating responsibility for a political career built on Islamophobia, the Opposition Leader is complicit in the worst abuses of Muslim refugees, while Jacinda Ardern is leading her nation with warmth and compassion in the most awful of circumstances.
Just as the Australian PM is breaking new records for sickening hypocrisy each time he opens his mouth, the New Zealand PM is breaking new ground each time she opens her heart.
Despite the understandable desire to elect Ardern, political pundits have reminded Australians that not only do they vote for parties rather than leaders, but also the New Zealand leader is not in fact a candidate for any party at the upcoming election.
Ardern herself has recommended voting Greens, saying they have a monopoly on empathy in Australian politics.
