Meanwhile the Premier’s spokeswoman Gladys Berejiklian has clarified the government’s visionary “Stadiums For Developers” policy.
Only a matter of months since it became clear just how much of the day Donald Trump spent in ‘Executive Time’, details have come to light on the proportion of the day the Premier spends hosting a boutique radio show from Pyrmont.
Thanks to BuzzFeed’s crack investigative journalism team, it has come to light this morning that between the hours of 530am and 9am, Premier Alan Jones hosts rageaholics anonymous meetings on Radio 2GB.
It’s bad enough that 2GB’s website literally describes Mr Jones as “the nation’s greatest orator and motivational speaker”, and that Alan also apparently reads the bush poetry of former Barker College boy Murray Martin every Friday.
What’s more concerning is the enormous amount of time spent governing NSW from the 2GB studio in Pyrmont rather than from his office on Macquarie St.
It’s not the only disturbing story about the NSW Premier to emerge in the last 24 hours.
Fearing public backlash over his “Stadiums for Developers” policy, the Premier was too weak to front the media himself, instead sending his spokeswoman Gladys Berejiklian out to Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta yesterday to “own” the stadiums policy.
It’s becoming clear that what the public really wants “owned” is assets like Ausgrid and corrupt governments like that of Alan Jones.
