Experts say the sector desperately needs an extra $2.5 billion, which is why the Morrison Government will inject 1/5 of that.
Whether it be climate sabotage, repealing medevac, attacking unions, undermining the voice to Parliament, or the robodebt fiasco, this Government’s actions usually seek to actively cause harm.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced that he will depart from protocol when it comes to aged care, this time choosing radically insufficient measures, rather than actively detrimental ones.
"I want to assure all Australians that we will deal with these issues as you would if you were standing in my shoes today," Mr Morrison said.
Apparently the approach of all Australians would be to take action which is by all accounts “too little, too late”, “still neglecting the problem”, and a “drop in the ocean of what’s required”.
Mr Morrison claimed to “have a very deep understanding of the difficult decisions that you're having to make, the conversations you're having to have with the partners, husbands, wives of those loved ones going into care,", and an even deeper understanding that clinging to pathetic claims of a Government surplus was more important than actually making these difficult decisions any easier.
