For a long time, it’s been pretty obvious than Pauline Hanson steals all her best racism from 1980s teen heartthrob John Howard.

In 1988 the Liberal-National Opposition released the One Australia policy which envisioned “one nation and one future”. The demented brainchild of then Leader of the Opposition John Howard, One Australia called for an end to multiculturalism, dismissed a treaty and land rights for Aboriginal Australians, and in talking about the policy Mr Howard advocated a reduction in Asian immigration. He said:
“…it would be in our immediate-term interest and supporting of social cohesion if it were slowed down a little, so the capacity of the community to absorb it was greater.”
On multiculturalism he argued:
“To me, multiculturalism suggests we can’t make up our minds who we are or what we believe in.”
On a treaty with Indigenous Australians he said:
"I abhor the notion of an Aboriginal treaty because it is repugnant to the ideals of One Australia".
Eight years later, Hanson cleverly copy-pasted Howard's words into her One Nation policy platform and has been borrowing from him ever since.
While many have seen Howard as Hanson’s political progenitor, few have seen her as his actual progeny, until now.
The 79-year old’s daughter is now 64 meaning Mr Howard had sex at 15, which is the most shocking aspect of these revelations for most Australians.
Asked for her thoughts on the news, Ms Hanson enthused “Daddy taught me everything I know.", while Mr Howard lamented "Kids eh? They grow up to be demagogues so fast."
