Defending your right to know the Government’s talking points. Also, Julian Assange can burn in hell.
Determined to surpass the PM’s world-beating standards of hypocrisy, News Corp papers have this week been quite frankly appalled to discover that two decades cheerleading every single federal law limiting press freedom has somehow resulted in less press freedom.
Passionate about defending your right to hate Indigenous people, poor people, Muslims, refugees, women, climate scientists, environmentalists, unions, and teenagers and their right to distract you from climate breakdown and mass extinction, making sure this tyrannical government clings to power by killing off democracy once and for all, News Corp are now crusading for your right to know their hateful and deluded version of reality.
Daily Telegraph editor Barney Gumble said “We’ve churned out hundreds of thousands of stories over two decades backslapping the Government for literally every single action which has led to the destruction of press freedom in this country. This week we joined a national campaign calling out the outrageous attacks on press freedom by this Government. I see no problem with that.”
