After two decades of resistance, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change has now sold their five assessment reports to every kid’s favourite corporation.

Aside from their immense contributions to hyper-consumerism, carbon emissions and hazardous dumping, Disney has always been a tireless campaigner for the environment.

Ignore all their material practices for a brief moment and you’ll be struck by a history of positive environmental messaging: Bambi, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas, Wall-E and now their latest project, Working Group II Contribution to the IPCC Fifth Assessment Report, Climate Change 2014: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability.

IPPC Chairman Rajendra Pachauri fears the morbidly serious story of climate change will now be undermined with sentiment, animation and hypocrisy.

Children everywhere have told Mr Pachauri to shut up and challenged him to watch Mufasa’s death without crying.
