It’s a tough one.

Many Australians still can’t decide whether they should vote for the pile of fiery faeces that is the Coalition, the mild redistribution agenda of the Labor Party, or the prospect of not dying in the climate apocalypse under The Greens.

Despite the six year golden shower that has been the last two terms of government, many readers of the Australian Financial Review editorial are considering going back for more.

Others are considering rewarding Labor for showing at least some reasonably progressive policy vision with their first preference in the House and Senate. This would also reward Labor’s penchant for more humanely torturing refugees and drowning us all with rising levels at a slower pace than the Coalition.

Others still are leaning towards giving their first preference to The Greens because they are “the only political party in Australia with climate policies that put forward targets that would enable us to meet our international obligations according to the science”.

Thankfully these voters can vote Greens for the planet, preference Labor, and put the dogshit last.
