The ABC is better than this.
The nation’s wokest fossil fuel lobbyists have drowned the ABC in complaints this morning, furious with their invisibilisation from Four Corners’ narrative about reasons for climate inaction.
Some had thought their multi-decade campaign to poison the well of climate policy through thinktanks, lobbying, donations, advertising and a direct takeover of the most powerful positions in the Prime Minister’s office might deserve some recognition.
Former Howard Minister and Current Chair of the Minerals Council of Australia, Helen Coonan, said “We’ve poured millions of dollars and years of effort into sabotaging climate action and we don’t even get a mention? Shame ABC, shame.”
