Peter Dutton is weak on border security.
In what has been described as “the biggest green light in years”, one of the most influential coronavirus smugglers in the world, Peter Dutton, has not only been allowed onto Australian shores, but has been in close contact with many of Australia’s highest officials.
Minister Dutton, who has tested positive for coronavirus, is a member of Cabinet’s national security committee. So is PM Morrison.... who just spent the day in a room with the leader of every state & territory government. Things getting real now.

Labor has pounced on the opportunity, arguing that retaining a notorious virus smuggler as the Minister responsible for national security would be the “ultimate marketing tool” for other virus smugglers.
Labor leader Antony Albanese said “Giving such a man adequate medical care on Australian soil would roll out the red carpet for coronavirus and unravel our border protection regime. Every new case will be on Peter Dutton’s head.”
