They’ve taken a good hard look at the government’s dismissive response to the latest absolutely terrifying IPCC report, an approach which if adopted by other high- emitting countries would lock in around 6 degrees of warming by 2100 and the resulting deaths of hundreds of millions if not billions of human beings.
And they thought to themselves “Oh yeah, I can get on board with that”.
