She’ll be right.

Not to use grossly inaccurate and blatantly meaningless generalisations, the thing about Australians is they cherish mateship above all else.

From the beaches of Gallipoli, to the toilet paper aisle of your local Woolies, Aussies consistently show a dedication to duty, honour, fairness, compassion, honesty, teamwork, loyalty, as well as physical and moral courage.

From the diggers of WW1, to the bloke who got tasered in Tamworth after an altercation of toilet paper in Big W, we’re all about having a sense of shared experience, mutual respect, and unconditional assistance.

And it’s this universal quality of mateship, so proudly on display during the Great Bog Paper Crisis (GBPC) of 2020, that will get us through the resource wars when the climate emergency comes for us all.
