Scott Morrison truly is the Yoda of human rights abuses.

The beating hearts of millions of Australians are swelling with pride today as a quasi-fascist whose history of mendacity is only matched by the number of sexual assault allegations levelled against him, praised Australian asylum seeker policy.

Where once Australians could take pride in leading the world on the women’s suffrage or pioneering some of the globe’s earliest national parks, now we can boast about having the world’s best concentration camps.

It’s no mean feat that world’s greatest braggart, whose policy achievements include a Muslim travel ban, ripping kids from their parents at the Mexican border, and housing migrants in concentration camps, seems genuinely humbled by the cruelty of our government.
