Why on earth would they lie?
John Howard said “there’s no way that a GST will ever be part of our policy, never ever, it’s dead”.
Tony Abbott said there would be “no cuts to education, no cuts to health, no change to pensions, no change to the GST and no cuts to the ABC or SBS.”
Still, one out of six ain't bad.
Malcolm Turnbull says “Medicare will never ever be privatised. Medicare will never ever be sold. Every element of Medicare services that is being deliveredby government today will be delivered by government in the future. Full stop.”
The Liberals have a 40 year history of undermining Medicare.
