Not only will Latrell Mitchell be expected to make those crucial line breaks when Rugby League returns on May 28, but also parse complex government legislation.

Rugby league is back in business!

After what feels like an eternity without footy, the greatest game of all is set to return on May 28 after the freedom fighting of Peter V'landys, Wayne Pearce and the Project Apollo committee.

Not so democracy, which remains suspended until August 11, when Parliament will finally resume a normal schedule.

Given the long-term absence of our politicians from Canberra, it will all be down to the game’s best players, Cameron Smith, James Tedesco, and Latrell Mitchell, to hold the Morrison Government accountable in the meantime.
