How on Earth did this guy get through his probation?
Australian citizens are starting to wonder whether Scott Morrison deserves seven times the national wage for smugly sentencing the entire Pacific region to death.
Following a week in which his “arrogant”, “insulting, and condescending” behaviour pissed off our entire region and his deputy got real mad because our Pacific neighbours haven’t been grateful enough that they had the privilege of some sweet, sweet, slave labour on land stolen by his genocidal white ancestors, millions of hardworking Aussies wondered what the fuck they are remunerating our political leaders for.
Given we’re paying Morrison $549,229 a year to bully the Pacific, cook the planet, torture refugees, attack workers’ rights, the ABC, transgender kids and climate-terrified teens, embolden the far right and run a protection racket for bankers as well as his party’s misogyny and Islamophobia, cut billions from welfare, schools, hospitals and other essential public services while funnelling public money into the pockets of billionaires, media moguls and private schools, and generally behave like the worst kind of smug, entitled hypocrite, perhaps it is time to start questioning whether we really are getting the best possible value for money.
