PM Denies Link Between Coronavirus And Feeling Sick

Mr Morrison said it is “not credible” to link coronavirus to its symptoms.

Man better suited to selling faulty washing machines than crisis management, Scott Morrison, has asserted there is no direct link between coronavirus and its symptoms, even suggesting Australia could increase the spread of the virus without making those symptoms worse.

As doctors battle an out-of-control coronavirus pandemic, the Prime Minister said it was “disappointing” that people were conflating causes and effects.

“The suggestion that coronavirus has contributed directly to the symptoms of its victims is just ridiculous and the conflation of those two things, I think, has been very disappointing.”

“There are a range of other contributing factors at play here: drought, hazard reduction, and The Greens, mostly.
