Morrison says coronavirus alarmists trick you into thinking it’s a new phenomenon.
One of the world’s foremost virologists, Scott Morrison, has held a press conference today to impart some of his vast knowledge of disease patterns on the Australian public.
“Devastating coronavirus outbreaks have been regular, taking multiple lives on multiple occasions in the 1940s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s”, Mr Morrison said.
“Yet so much coverage and commentary in the past week would have it that the latest coronavirus is a new phenomenon.”
“To suggest the threat is new or can be diminished by public health policy is to pile false hope and mind-numbing stupidity on top of alarmist politicking.”
“That’s why I’m announcing that today my Government will be teaming up with the Murdoch Press and Big Pharma to spend the next decade fuelling misinformation and sabotaging any attempts to protect Australians from coronavirus.”
