Voters concerned Scott Morrison thinks he’s the U.S. President.
Scott Morrison has launched a bizarre effort to get all Australians to cast an invalid vote by drawing their own box on the ballot paper, writing his name next to it, and then writing in the number 1.
In the worst political slogan since the Tories asked the British electorate “Are you thinking what we’re thinking?” in 2005, only to receive a firm “No” from voters, the PM said “You vote for me, you get me. You vote for Bill Shorten and you’ll get Bill Shorten.”
In response to this rather unprecedented attempt to get voters to ignore their local candidate and vote for the Prime Minister instead, supporters of a future Australia in which every day isn’t a new low have voiced their support for the strategy.
“Great idea. While you’re at, can you draw a few tasteful depictions of cock and balls?”
