Korean Central Television (KCTV), the only official source of television news for North Koreans, has taken the unprecedented step of shaming a foreign media company for unduly influencing the political views of a citizenry.
After biting their tongues for years over Murdoch’s absurdly biased Australian politics coverage, the headlines about the Australian Prime Minister calling the election tipped KCTV over the edge.
A spokesperson for the station, the core programming of which focuses on the history and achievements of the ruling Korean Workers’ Party, the Korean People’s Army (KPA) and leader Kim Jong-Un, said Murdoch’s cheerleading for the Liberal Party was “a little much”.
He added “It’s all well and good to praise your founding father Robert Menzies, as well as his son John Howard and grandson and current leader Scott Morrison, but at least we do other stuff like produce information about health and education, children’s programmes, and musical shows. I don’t see anything coming out of these papers of value.”
Murdoch's editors are out-competing one another to do their master’s political bidding in support of Morrison. The election hasn't even been called yet. Murdoch an absolute cancer on democracy. pic.twitter.com/sl7MC7B4Wc

Longtime chief newsreader Ri Chun-hee also criticised the tone of the News Corp headlines and articles was “far too melodramatic for a news source”.
