Prime Arsonist, Scott Morrison, hasn’t spent any of the $100-million fund to help regional bushfire recovery but just found more than half a billion dollars to create 10 jobs at a new gas plant and thousands more in emergency services.

A fossil fuelled ad man who stumbled his way into the Prime Ministership after a shove from Rupert Murdoch is on a gas-fired spending spree pissing away both taxpayer dollars and their futures.

In response to a new report from the International Energy Agency stating that “there is no need for investment in new fossil fuel supply in our net zero pathway”, the nation’s top climate criminal muttered something about his wife and daughters before drowning an entire village of Bangladeshi women.

In light of the Black Summer bushfires, a climate emergency and economics which don’t stack up, the gas plant decision makes no sense. Why would a government funded, staffed and directed by the fossil fuel industry do such a thing?
