Spiritual leader of the Liberal Party Cory Bernadi has issued an encyclical which demands reviews into a range of things which make him feel a bit icky inside. As a matter of good faith, the Prime Minister has dutifully followed his guru’s decree.
The nature of the reviews ordered by Turnbull will only consider evidence which proves Cory right. Expect to see a mountain of anecdotal evidence from Cory’s family members which prove once and for all that same-sex marriage leads to polygamy and bestiality, why Islam is a “totalitarian, political and religious ideology” and how anti-Islam rallies are “not racist”, that non-traditional families lead to criminality, that Christianity is under siege from the Greens, that a “death industry” is pushing abortions as a form of birth control, that asylum seekers are “welfare squatters”, and that climate change is a conspiracy theory.
The Prime Minister has denied claims Bernadi is his spiritual leader and said there is only one true God: free market capitalism.
