The mainstream media are flabbergasted that Donald Drumpf continues his march towards to the Republican nomination, unsure who to blame for the saturation mainstream media coverage driving Drumpf's success.
Last Thursday alone, Drumpf was the subject of 52,683 articles while Berne Sanders was his closest rival, at 4,400.
Head of CBS Les Moonves can’t explain it, although he did actually say a Trump dominated campaign is excellent for the ratings and profits of CBS:
“The money is rolling in and this is fun...I’ve never seen anything like this, and this is going to be a very good year for us. Sorry. It’s a terrible thing to say. But bring it on Donald. Keep going...”
While there are no voices of reason inside the mainstream media to sensibly explain the rise of Drumpf, many journalists are very happy to rent out their national platform to utterly idiotic, racist, dangerous and destructive speculation that somehow Mexicans and Muslims are to blame.
