Victorian Minister Adem Somyurek was sacked for delegitimising the democratic pre-selection process. After intense media scrutiny around the events of his pre-selection in 2007, the PM has also been forced out.
Explosive news out of Canberra this morning as the blowtorch of the Canberra press gallery has cost the scalp of yet another Prime Minister.
Given that Labor’s Somyurek was sacked, referred to the Victorian anti-corruption commission and police, and then quit the ALP after dodgy pre-selection dealings came to light, it seems only fair that the objective media rigorously applied the same standards to the Prime Minister.
The ALP kick out their members who engage in dodgy preselection. The LNP make them Prime Minister.

A 2009 SMH article detailed how Morrison was parachuted in to replace the already pre-selected Lebanese-Australian candidate Michael Towke in conjunction with a slanderous Daily Telegraph campaign orchestrated from inside the Liberal Party
Once this article re-emerged and went viral, it was only a matter of time before Mr Morrison was held accountable.
