Morrison reminds Australians of Christ’s lesser-known teachings which encourage children to self-harm and commit suicide.
You’ve got to hand it to the Prime Minister. In 68 characters he managed not only to spike rates of transphobia across the country but also erase the experience of suicidal children on Nauru and Manus, denied life-saving medical treatment by this governmental arm of the Hillsong church.

In defence of his actions, Morrison, always ready with a King James in his left breast pocket, quoted Jesus who said “Blessed are the torturers, for they will inherit marginal seat wins”, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved keeping you in cages” and “For God so loved the World that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have the fucking gall to say let kids be kids while denying psychiatric care to anguished children you've trapped in offshore prisons.”
Asked if perhaps he missed the frequent biblical passages about compassion and loving the stranger, the PM said “I was pretty busy with Operation Sovereign Borders when we went through those bits".
