Mr Morrison said those acting against the interests of public health should face charges. It’s unclear when he’ll be taken into custody for climate crimes.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has demanded an end to further Black Lives Matter protests, saying he could take or leave democracy tbh.
Instead of mitigating the existential need to protest by doing literally any single thing to address the fairly basic demands of Aboriginal people for authorities to stop killing them, the PM has chosen to instead demonise one of the few rights standing between us and his authoritarian fantasy.
Really great to see the nation's leaders talk at length about whether or not tens of thousands of people should have gone to a protest that's already happened rather than describe literally anything they're going to do to stop the thing they were protesting about

His stance against the Black Lives Matter protests on COVID-19 grounds would be believable but for every single other thing he’s ever said and done regarding the right for progressives to protest.
Just months since the end of Australia’s cataclysmic fire season and hours since the Arctic reached temperatures of 30 degrees, it’s a relief to see the PM take a stand against Australia’s most pressing public health crisis: Aboriginal demands for truth, equality, and justice.
