YAS SCOTTY!!!

Scott Morrison has today announced that he is taking a 20 percent pay increase in solidarity with disaster capitalists.

The rest of Morrison’s cabinet, along with sever senior government officials, will also be taking the pay increase, because that seventh house isn’t going to pay itself off.

The 20 percent increase will last for the next six months, when it will be doubled. It has been explicitly designed to show solidarity with those fossil fuel barons who are making the most of the absence of public protest as a result of the outbreak.

“It’s a matter of leadership…by coal companies. And it’s an acknowledgement of the way these coal billionaires are taking advantage of the fact we’re all distracted by a pandemic right now”, Morrison told the press.

‘If there was ever a time to close the paper thin gap between my government and people in different positions of power across Australia, it is now.”

“I am responsible for the super profits of fossil fuel companies and this is where we can take action…it is about showing solidarity in Clive Palmer’s time of need.”
