Whether it be the string of public polling, a year of climate strikes, or the national outcry over the summer’s horrific bushfires, one thing is clear: Australians want a gas-led recovery.
Never one to just do want his corporate owners tell him to do, Prime Minister Scott Morrison has heard these public demands to unlock more gas for the domestic market, and is delivering.
With 63% of Aussies in favour of wiping out native wildlife, 68% supporting the destruction of their own homes in out of control bushfires, and 73% on board with transforming the country into a barren wasteland, the PM’s “gas-led recovery” is bound to be a savvy political move.
