It’s time for teachers to just follow the confusing and illogical medical advice. It’s not time for the PM to just follow elemental principles of democracy.
The Prime Minister has expressed his frustration with teachers for not understanding the clear and consistent COVID-19 advice that while they are not to go to the park with two friends under any circumstances, they should instead get together with 30 of their students in a small room.
Teachers on the other hand have expressed their frustration with the PM for not comprehending their clear instruction that while he is not to go to meetings of fossil fuel or media executives under any circumstances, he should instead get together with fellow politicians in Parliament House to actually, you know, represent the people.
A new report however, cited by teachers advocating the reopening of Parliament, says Liberal politicians are very unlikely to transmit key principles of democracy between each other or to the Australian public.
